Waiting times
In the central emergency ward, we treat according to the urgency and severity of the illness, not the time of admission. The triage of patients (according to ESI) is carried out by an experienced emergency nurse.
Our thorough examinations, diagnostics and dialogue with you take time. Therefore, there may be waiting times. A comprehensive assessment/treatment often takes up to 3 hours.
We ask for your understanding if you experience unpleasantly long waiting times. Please contact the nursing staff at any time if you have any questions or if your condition worsens while you are waiting.
