Cardiovascular diseases are primarily investigated on an outpatient basis, in rare cases on an inpatient basis.
Course of treatment
All patients with implanted devices (pacemakers, implantable defibrillators, cardiac resynchronisation therapy, implantable cardiac monitoring) are seen during routine check-ups, if necessary for reprogramming or due to complaints or other medical reasons.
